TSDA Chronicles #2: Departure, Distillery, and Lost in Knoxville

As predicted, departure was delayed for about an hour by Hayden's less-than-punctual awakening.  The lost time was made up by switching breakfast from Rama Jama's to Chik Fila, however, and the show went on.  The crew barelled it's way up I-65 to the sweet melodies of Taylor Swift and Scatman John for about 3 hours all the way to Lynchburg Tennessee, home of Jack Daniel's whiskey distillery.

After taking a fragrant tour and holding an afterparty at Dairy Queen, Hayden manned the pilot's seat for the remaining 3.5 hours through backroads Tennessee to Knoxville.

Once in Knoxville, after checking into the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS that was booked via blackberry, our fateful crew members went exploring through town in the pathfinder with the "Roll Tide Roll" license plate.  After a good bit of harmless wandering, the consensus was to find food and return to the hotel and explore again the next day.  2 hours later, after being "shorted" by a parking meter, lost in a jungle of asymmetric interstate contruction/detours that the GPS didn't know about, dragged throughall the finest ghettoes of Knoxville, and being witness to some sort of very, very serious crime at a HoJo, we finally arrived back at the hotel with some Taco Bell.  After some brief confusion regarding timezones, the food was enjoyed and everyone crashed.

I think we're all looking forward to being infallible tomorrow after a night at the HIE.
